BMW announces new Competition Package for the M3

The new Competition Package is said to further improve the cars' handling dynamics with the addition of a 10mm lower suspension and 19-inch alloy wheels with a wider track. The package is available for both the M3 Coupe and Sedan models.

Other changes include a reconfigured Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems, and when combined with the lowered suspension and wider tyres, BMW says that the M3 with the Competition Package is "the best handling production M car ever built".

While there are still no official pictures of the M3 with the Competition Package released by BMW, the German carmaker confirmed that the package is available as an option for the M3 Coupe and Sedan, for US$2,500.
