BMW Group Asia announces remarkable performance for Q1 2024

BMW Group Asia has reinforced its leading position within the industry's premium and premium EV segments in Singapore for the first three months of 2024.
In Singapore alone, the MINI brand saw a year-on-year growth of 6.1%, while BMW itself achieved growth of 51.5% within the same period. Drilling down deeper into the numbers, the most significant spike, however, was witnessed with BMW's battery-electric models - which achieved a remarkable 151.5% growth year-on-year.
Perhaps just as significantly, the Group seems determined to take its performance to greater heights still.
An entire lineup of specific models has been teased for local launch "in the coming months". On the one hand, these will include facelifted iterations of long-time favourites, including the new BMW 4 Series Coupe and Convertible, BMW M4 Competition Coupe and Convertible, and BMW i4. On the other hand, however, two entirely fresh names are set to land here too: The BMW iX2, and the highly-anticipated BMW i5 Touring. Within the larger Group, MINI is also set to bring the all-new Cooper and Countryman to our shores soon.
It's not just product launches that BMW Group Asia is focusing on, though.
Over the years, the Group has worked with various organisations to foster the spirit of social responsibility. One key partner is EduTorque, with which BMW continues to organise school visits and EV showcases. The firm also provides internship opportunities for students at the German European School Singapore, while working with Life Community Services Society to teach children about sustainability. Additionally, BMW continues to run Meals-on-Wheels, a meal delivery programme that meets the daily needs of the home-bound elderly.
Since the start of the year, BMW has provided its customers with various activities displaying its level of innovation, hospitality and sportsmanship too. This year, the top three Singapore golfers took part in the BMW Golf Cup World Final.
Looking forward, selected customers can even expect an all-new dining experience, dubbed 7 SENSES BY BMW. The exclusive experience promises to transport guests into BMW's extended world of luxury via curated food, beverages, music and fragrances. 7 SENSES BY BMW is expected to arrive in Singapore within Q2.
Finally, customers can look forward to added convenience and flexibility when purchasing or servicing their BMW or MINI, thanks to the Group's expansion of its new retail and service concepts.
Within the past quarter already - in February this year - BMW celebrated the opening of the BMW Eurokars Auto Service Centre at 27A Tanjong Penjuru. Beyond this, however, customers can expect the opening of three other retail and servicing concepts soon: Eurokars Auto BMW Showroom at 29 Leng Kee Road, Performance Motors BMW Showroom at 303 Alexandra Road and Eurokars Habitat MINI Showroom at 27 Leng Kee Road.
All of these spaces are expected to open within 2024.
