BMW World of Golf, dubbed the largest BMW Golf Series in Singapore, is due to return in April 2024 with an estimated 1,500 participants anticipated to be in attendance. Three local qualifying rounds will be held over the course of April till June 2024, at Singapore Island Country Club, Sentosa Golf Club and Tanah Merah Country Club.
The BMW Golf Cup National Final is expected to take place from 4 to 6 September 2024. Three winners will then represent Singapore at the World final in 2025.
Speaking of South Africa, Team Singapore players from the 2023 season recently returned home from Fancourt Golf Resort's Montagu and Outeniqua golf courses, where nine-time major champion, Gary Player, was in attendance. Coincidentally, the Montagu and Outeniqua courses were designed by Gary Player himself.
During the send-off dinner at Smoke and Mirrors, 2022 National Finalists also attended the event, and shared their own experience from the tournament, alongside tips on preparing for the World Final.
Back in 2023, Luisa Neo and Risa Leong, both Team Singapore players, finished in the top 5 for the Ladies category, and second in the Guest Cup respectively.
