BMW releases official photos of the 2012 6-Series

A couple of months ago, BMW teased everybody at the Los Angeles Auto Show with glimpses of a production-looking 6-Series. But, they said that the car was only a "concept".

They lied.

It was the production model. Now, they've released these pictures, and have confirmed that the 2012 6-Series will debut early next year at the Detroit Auto Show.

Power will be supplied by BMW's new turbo-4.4 litre V8. But of course, the car's exact specs are a closely guarded secret.
