BYD by JC electrifies Jurong Point

BYD continues to be one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in Singapore due to its diverse model lineup catering to various consumer preferences, broadening its appeal among car buyers.

Family-oriented individuals seeking their next family hauler can explore the BYD M6, a seven-seater MPV with a versatile interior that can adapt to various passenger and luggage needs. Even with seven occupants, the boot offers 180 litres of volume for shopping, which can be expanded to a more useful 580 litres by folding down the rearmost seats. Powering the M6 is a 71.8kWh Blade Battery that provides a driving range of 440km, while powering a single electric motor with 134bhp and 250Nm of torque.

Sedan enthusiasts will be drawn to the Seal. Like the Atto 3, this electric sedan has also received several improvements, including a sunshade for the panoramic roof, a handy box for sunglasses, and new rim designs.

The Seal remains available in Dynamic, Premium, and Performance model variants. The Cat A Dynamic impresses with its rear-wheel drive agility and plush ride quality, while the mid-tier Premium variant offers greater range and quicker acceleration. Squarely aimed at keen drivers, the dual-motor Seal Performance packs 523bhp, 670Nm of torque, and a century sprint time of 3.8 seconds.
