Casa Seat saw a record number of visitors in 2023

Seat has announced that its Casa Seat space in Barcelona saw a record number of visitors in 2023.

A total of 214,900 people have visited the space, which hosted more than 200 public events for the year. The space also hosted some of Cupra's latest launches and prototypes, such as the Cupra DarkRebel, the first car from the firm unveiled through Cupra's metaverse space, Metahype. Also making its premiere in Casa Seat was the Cupra Tavascan, the brand's first all-electric coupe SUV.

2023 also saw Casa Seat being transformed to mark Oktoberfest and Halloween, with the public being offered the opportunity to for gain insights from a tarot card reader, or to get a tattoo on the spookiest night of the year. The ground floor of Casa Seat was also turned into a virtual haunted house which visitors could experience be donning a virtual reality headset.

December also saw Spanish film Director and Producer J.A. Bayona honoured as a Cupra brand ambassador at Casa Seat, a move designed to promote creativity and innovation in Barcelona. Seat states that the 2024 events calendar for Casa Seat is already full of activities, with new concerts planned for its ground floor venue, while work is already underway on organising themed events for Carnival, Sant Jordi, and Halloween.
