C&C Kia to host Unstoppable Niro 48h Challenge

Cycle & Carriage (C&C) Kia will be hosting the highly anticipated Unstoppable Niro 48h Challenge, an endurance test designed to showcase the exceptional fuel efficiency and real-world capabilities of the Kia Niro Hybrid.

In the 2022 event hosted by C&C Kia in conjunction with the launch of the Niro Hybrid, the vehicle set a national record for the longest test drive - covering over 970km in 24 hours without refuelling. This year, the challenge will be to push the vehicle's efficiency even further.

Current Kia Niro Hybrid owners are invited to participate, and they may form a team of three drivers to take turns behind the wheel, as well as planning their own driver schedule and route. The challenge will flag off from 18 April 2025, 03:00pm Singapore time, and finish on 20 April 2025, 03:00pm Singapore time at C&C Kia's showroom at 239 Alexandra Road. Each team's fuel tank will be sealed at the start of the challenge, with a pit-stop check-in midway to monitor progress and ensure fair competition.

Prior to the challenge, an internal test was conducted to gauge the true potential of the Kia Niro Hybrid, with the vehicle achieving an astounding 1,147km on a 42-litre tank.

The winning team that sets the furthest distance will be featured in Singapore's Book of Records and take home the grand prize of $10,000 in cash and service credits. All participants will receive a free full tank of fuel, a challenge T-shirt, and a goodie bag. There will also be a pit-stop reward of $100 worth of fuel vouchers for checking in at the designated pit stop, and a mileage milestone reward of $200 in fuel vouchers and $200 in servicing credits for participants who exceed 970km.
