Hot on the heels of its addition of two new brands to its portfolio, Cycle & Carriage's (C&C) current roadshow at i12 Katong, which runs from 25 March 2025 to 31 March 2025, will feature deals and offers for a number of Citroen and Peugeot models.
While nothing concrete has been mentioned of the agreement between C&C and Leapmotor, one of the two new acquisitions, the former has stated that an update will likely come in the second half of 2025.
On to the other new acquisition to C&C's portfolio: Peugeot.
Having taken the reins from Vantage Automotive in 2025, two variants of the Peugeot 408 fastback - the 408 GT and the 408 Allure - are on sale now, with the former now present at the roadshow. Both are powered by the same Cat A-friendly 1.2-litre engine, offering 129bhp and 230Nm of torque, with the only difference between the two coming down to various exterior and interior features.
As mentioned, a variety of exterior and interior features differentiate the 408 GT from the 408 Allure. To name a few, the more premium GT sports Ultra Slim Full Matrix LED Headlights, whereas the Allure only has LED Headlights. The GT also sports Peugeot's 'Lion' shield badging on its front doors and has a vertical body coloured front grille, while the Allure does not. Inside, the GT has a 3D Quartz I-Cockpit with XI Cluster and Glossy Black Decoration, as well as a sunroof, both of which the Allure does not have.
All in all, it is entirely up to potential buyers as to what features they can and cannot live without. In this case, looks definitely do matter. C&C will also offer two years of complimentary insurance with each purchase of the 408 GT.
Also offered at the roadshow are two all-electric Citroen models, which should come as no surprise given that C&C have been the official distributors of the French brand for a while now. Like the Peugeot 408, both of these cars qualify for a Cat A COE, but should appeal to drivers looking instead to go electric.
The e-C4 Crossover is offered with roadshow price ranges from $162,999 to $164,999 and with five different paintworks: Platinum Grey, Perla Nera Black, Okenite White, Elixir Red, and Polar White. It comes with a 50kWh battery and offers an output of 97kW (130bhp) and 260Nm of torque, with a century sprint timing of 10.8 seconds. In addition, it can charge from 0% to 80% in 27 minutes with DC charging.
The e-C4 X is an all-electric sedan that is offered with a roadshow price of $174,999 - in the Shine Plus trim - and four colour options: Arctic Steel, Eclipse Blue, Okenite White, and Platinum Grey. The Shine trim is also offered at a price of $168,999 in Elixir Red, although C&C mentioned that they will be phasing out this particular variant and, moving forward, will only offer the Shine Plus. (All prices stated are inclusive of COE.)
In comparison to the e-C4 Crossover, the e-C4 X has a 54kWh battery and offers an output of 100kW (134bhp) and 270Nm of torque, with a century sprint timing of 10 seconds. In addition, it can charge from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes with DC charging
So, what's on the horizon for C&C? As of now, they are very much focused on the three aforementioned brands, all of which fall under the ownership of the Stellantis group. Currently, there are no plans in motion to bring in additional brands. However, C&C has mentioned that it will likely bring in more Citroen and Peugeot MHEVs, with a focus instead on EVs for Leapmotor, playing to the strengths of all three brands.
