Peugeot to unveil new electric E-408

Peugeot has announced that it is set to unveil a new E-408 electric fastback saloon at the Paris Motor Show.
The car will make its global premiere at the brand's stand alongside the new 'Long Range' variants of the Peugeot E-3008 and the E-5008 SUV, which offers up to 700km and 668km of range respectively, thanks to their 96.9kWh batteries.
Peugeot states it will additionally showcase two innovations at the exhibition. The first is the Peugeot Inception Concept first unveiled early in 2023. Also set to be showcased at the show is the new generation of the firm's i-Cockpit, complete with a new Hypersquare steering control. Tied to a fly-by-wire system, the new steering control is said to offer an ergonomic and intuitive grip, with customisable touch controls similar to those of a tablet to driving as easy as using a smartphone. This new steering control is set to be utilised in the brand's upcoming vehicles come 2026.
