| CAT | Premium | Change | Quota | No. of bids |
| A | $97,000 | ▲ $794 | 588 | 756 |
| B | $118,002 | ▼ $2,998 | 471 | 594 |
| C | $82,223 | ▼ $917 | 77 | 147 |
| E | $121,000 | ▼ $2,000 | 130 | 217 |
In the first round of bidding for July, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums climbed for Cat A, while premiums for Cat B and E slipped.
The recent launch of the BYD Dolphin - currently Singapore's cheapest fully electric passenger car - as well as the arrival of the updated Mercedes-Benz A-Class and B-Class here in Singapore could explain the rise in Cat A COE even as the other categories slipped this session. This could also explain why the total number of bids received for Cat A rose this session, even when the total number of bids submitted for the other categories fell this session compared to the last.
