Cupra and Playseat collaborate on a simulator for gamers

Cupra has unveiled the product of a new collaboration with racing simulator firm Playseat, the Playseat PRO Cupra Racing Formula E.

The Playseat PRO Cupra Racing Formula E is a simulator cockpit which replicates a real racing car seat, allowing gamers to experience the same sensations as professional racing driver when on the track.

The seat of the simulator cockpit is mirrored after the seats in a Formula E car, giving gamers the most authentic experience

The seat offers a low, sloped driving position which not only offers a level of immersion which is said to be superior to any other simulation platform, but also comes in a design which recreates the excitement of driving a real Formula E car. 

It further features Playseat's own Forcelock system, which allows the  racing simulator cockpit to apply extreme forces to the seat frame without compromising the durability of the seat. This patented system is said to have been tested and perfected under the toughest conditions in professional environments. 

The simulator cockpit is further said to be made of top quality materials, making use of a durable and stable metal structure which is accompanied by a comfortable, responsive and also unique seat. Its official matte colour scheme, logos, and decals, meanwhile, mirror those which are used by the CUupra Racing Formula E team. The seats of the simulator themselves, meanwhile, are upholstered in black vinyl, a material which makes the seat suitable for hours of continuous use. The Playseat PRO Cupra Racing Formula E is not just compatible with all consoles and PCs, but also with all steering wheels and pedals.

The compatibility of the simulator cockpit provides gamers with the opportunity to experience driving the Cupra Tavascan and Cupra Formentor VZ5, both of which are available on the video game title Forza Horizon 5. Gamers will also have the opportunity to unlock an exclusive Cupra Race suit in the game after completing a series of challenges.
