Dacia has achieved a record-breaking market share for the brand, accounting for 3.9% of the Passenger Car (PC) and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales in Europe, as well as 4.5% of PC sales in Europe. Having sold 676,340 vehicles in 2024 (a 2.7% growth compared to 2023), this also marks a milestone in the history of Dacia, with over nine million vehicles sold since 2004.
This achievement, alongside other impressive statistics growth, was driven by a robust product plan featuring four key models. First on the list is the Sandero, with 309,392 sales in 2024 (up by 14.5% from 2023). It is the best-selling vehicle in Europe across all channels, and also the first Dacia vehicle to sell more than 300,000 units in a single year.
The second vehicle is the Duster (generations two and three), which is the second most sold vehicle to retail customers in Europe. With 215,024 sales in 2024 (up by 7.3% from 2023) in all countries, the SUV has exceeded 2.5 million units on the road since its launch in 2010.
The third vehicle is the Spring, whose sales fell significantly in 2024 (down by 63% from 2023), mainly due to a result in the reduction of government grants. However, the arrival of the new version in September 2024 led to an increase in orders over the last three months.
Last but not least, the Jogger. With 96,440 vehicles sold in 2024 (up by 2.4% from 2023), it maintained its podium position in the non-SUV C-segment in the European retail market, with hybrid powertrains accounting for 29% of sales.
In order to strengthen customer loyalty, Dacia Zen warranty offers Dacia owners up to seven years of cover and is available to owners of all Dacia vehicles that are up to six years old and have covered less than 120,700km, and will be renewed for free following each annual service completed by an official Dacia retailer.
For 2025, Dacia has stated that among other things, it will be focusing on the electrification of its range by offering more hybrid powertrains, while staying true to its strategy of offering simple, affordable vehicles.
