Designer envisions successor to the Aston Martin One-77 with the DBC

The DBC is the work of private automotive designer and 1st runner up of the Ferrari World Design Contest - Samir Sadikhov. The IED Turin transport design graduate - originally from Azerbaijan - is no stranger to automotive design concepts and his Aston Martin DBS concept showcases a successor to the One-77 halo car.
Unlike current Aston Martin's which adopts an evolutionary approach to the design language, the DBC departs from the One-77 sans two hallmark design traits. The signature Aston Martin grille and the side blades. While the rear end is reminiscent of the stillborn Jaguar CX-75 - overall - the mid-engined supercar design concept feels worthy of being a successor to the One-77.
Like Pininfarina, Zagato or Bertone, we believe Samir has all the chops to excel in the automotive industry and patiently wait to indulge in more of his creations and genuinely hope one of his creations will be picked up by an automaker for production.
