Dongfeng showcases the MHERO II and VOYAH Dream

Dongfeng is a relatively young brand in Singapore, and you might know the brand best from its popular EVs - the compact and practical Box hatchback, and the premium 007 fastback sedan.
However, this time round, Dongfeng Singapore has brought a few exciting new cars to the Singapore Motor Show, and is showcasing the exciting MHERO II off-road SUV and the VOYAH Dream luxury MPV for the first time in Singapore.
Despite being associated predominantly with premium EV offerings in today's context, Dongfeng Motor Corporation has a history of manufacturing heavy duty trucks and military vehicles. These vehicles weren't just hardy; they had to be able to survive and conquer the harshest of terrains.
It is with the same vein of engineering that the MHERO brand of capable off-road SUVs was created. But unlike the military vehicles, MHERO products are also luxurious and well equipped. The MHERO II, for instance, is a massive full-sized SUV. This vehicle is a true powerhouse with its plug-in hybrid powertrain that includes two electric motors - its total output is a staggering 505kW (677bhp) and 848Nm of torque!
Expectedly, the MHERO II is extremely well equipped - there are ventilated seats for first and second row occupants, electric adjustable front row seats with massage functions for the driver, and the interior has over 91% of its surfaces covered in Nappa leather.
Meanwhile, the VOYAH Dream is a luxurious MPV powered by a similar plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and dual electric motors. On the VOYAH Dream, the total output is a generous 480kW (644bhp) and 840Nm of torque. Even with a full load, you'll never find yourself wanting more power.
The VOYAH Dream is extremely well-equipped - large screens, ventilated seats with massage functions and a full suite of driving assist systems, there's everything you want
In addition to a full suite of driving assist systems including Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, the Dream is also extremely well-equipped. Ventilated seats are available for front and second row passengers, while the front row seats are also electrically adjustable with massage functions for the driver.
As expected of luxury MPVs, the second row is where you'll want to be. Get ready to be pampered by the 14-way electric Zero Gravity seats with lumbar adjustments and massage functions. There's also a large 17.3-inch 3K display for your entertainment needs, along with a premium 20-speaker surround sound system.
While both cars aren't available for sale just yet, Sgcarmart understands that these models are slated to arrive in Singapore in the future, possibly towards the end of the year.
