Electrogenic DeLorean DMC-12 to head to Salon Prive

Remember this electrified DeLorean DMC-12?

The electric car conversion firm Electrogenic responsible for its birth has now announced that it will be available to view at the 2024 Salon Prive at Blenheim Palace in the U.K.

The converted car is said to now sport performance fitting of its futuristic shape and leading role in the Back to the Future films, thanks to Electrogenic’s plug-and-play electric vehicle conversion kit that gives the car a 241km range and 215bhp of power, all from a 43kWh battery pack.

This newfound power is said to allow the DMC-12 to reach 96km/h from a standstill in under 5.0 seconds, and also adds to the car features including adjustable regenerative braking and selectable driving profiles. The Electrogenic DMC-12 also gets an Apple CarPlay compatible touchscreen, a bespoke virtual dashboard, an enhanced air-conditioning system and vehicle-to-load functionality, so owners can charge a laptop, power a fridge, or even charge another car on the go.
