Eurokars Group has officially opened its new Eurokars Aftersales Centre, located at 27A Tanjong Penjuru, earlier today. Its new integrated aftersales facility is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and technology that will boost its capabilities in providing advanced aftersales services.
Designed to enhance Eurokars Group's value proposition for its customers and redefine its aftersales services in the new era, the Eurokars Aftersales Centre strives to propel the luxury automotive experience to the next level.
The official opening ceremony was graced by Mr. S Iswaran, the Minister for Communications and Information, and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Mr. Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Eurokars Group.
The 430,000sqft, $70 million facility that spans six storeys will house the group's aftersales operations and serves as an all-emcompassing hub for repairs and maintenance; pre-delivery inspection; body repair and spray painting, as well as the warehousing of vehicles and parts. The vastness and design of the space on all six floors allows for the synthesis of these key aftersales operations.
Mr. Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Eurokars Group, said, "At Eurokars Group, we pride ourselves on our strong commitment to quality, excellence, and customer satisfaction. We have made every effort to develop this facility to realise our goal of having a one-stop hub whereby our customers can have all their aftersales needs and service requirements met in one place."
The Eurokars Aftersales Centre will provide a completely seamless and hassle free experience for the group's customers, from the moment they arrive at the service reception and customer lounge to the point of their departure with their vehicle.
At the Porsche Service Centre, the spacious Direct Dialogue Bays enable customers to jointly examine their vehicles with Service Advisors from every perspective.
Likewise, at the Mazda Service Centre, consultations that are conducted at the Pre Acceptance Inspection area ensure that each customer receives personalised attention and no aspect of the car is left unexamined.
At the Mazda customer lounge on the second floor, customers will be treated to a premium Mazda experience and enjoy a host of amenities at the customer lounge.
The Mazda workshop and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) area can accommodate more than 150 cars per day, and is equipped with special proprietary tools, which comply with the exacting standards of Mazda Motor Corporation. The new Mazda Service Centre also encompasses six dedicated new car delivery suites for customers to receive their new vehicles.
Similarly, while waiting for their car to be serviced or repaired by the well-trained and qualified Porsche technicians, Porsche customers can unwind in the customer lounge at the first level, which has a stylish ambience and a suite of comfortable amenities, as well as a showcase of Porsche Driver's Selection merchandise.
Eurokars has also established its Training Centre, located on the third level of the Aftersales Centre. Knowledge is a key driver of excellence for Eurokars Group, in line with its mission of delivering exceptional car ownership experiences.
The Eurokars Training Centre focuses on the training of new technology, automotive repair and maintenance for all the brands across Eurokars Group.
It strives to inculcate high standards for all Eurokars Group employees not just in the area of technical skills, but also non-technical skills such as customer service training.
It aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of its employees through innovative training and development programmes that will raise their professionalism and level of service quality.
On the fourth level is where the PDI facility for MINI and Eurokars Central Parts Warehouse is located. As the MINI PDI Centre is in the same location as the storage facility, it enhances manpower productivity. The 53,000sqft Central Parts Warehouse will supply parts to the existing service centres for Porsche and Mazda located at Ubi and Leng Kee.
Eurokars Bodycare Centre located on the fifth level is a remarkable facility, and aims to be at the forefront of developments in car repair technology and techniques. The Centre adheres to uncompromising standards of automotive body repair and restoration, and strives to provide customers with quality assurance.
Technologically advanced collision repair equipment with computer aided measuring systems allow for precision repairs according to manufacturer specifications, as well as specialised booths designed for intricate body repairs.
Dust-free paint booths are customised to fit a wide range of vehicles, such as one, which can fit extended wheelbase cars such as the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Also present are diagnostic bays for the complete assessment of car bodies and undercarriage conditions, as well as a purpose-built light tunnel for in-depth analysis of paintwork during final inspection.
The Bodycare Centre also has direct access to support and updates from brand principals on the latest technologies and architecture of modern day cars.
The official opening of this new facility comes on the heels of the Ground-breaking Ceremony of the Eurokars Group Corporate Headquarters at Kung Chong Road in Singapore, which took place on 17 May 2017.
