The 2015 Geneva Motor Show sees Nissan confirm its commitment to the NISMO brand by showing the new Juke NISMO RS, 370Z NISMO and GT-R NISMO together for the first time.
Juke NISMO RS: rewriting the crossover rulebook
With the very first models now in the hands of owners across Europe, the Juke NISMO RS highlights Nissan's innovative approach to performance motoring.
Developed with NISMO's extensive global motorsport experience, the NISMO RS features a 1.6-litre DIG-T engine that develops 214bhp, while torque in two-wheel drive/manual transmission versions is 280Nm. The four-wheel drive models feature Nissan's advanced Torque Vectoring System as standard, along with Nissan's Xtronic transmission, 250Nm of torque and standard-fit steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts.
The Juke NISMO RS also features strategic body strengthening to increase torsional stiffness further and a more powerful braking system that features larger discs than the standard NISMO model. Revised springs and dampers complete the package of dynamic enhancements.
370Z NISMO: Sharper and sportier than ever
Incorporating a host of design and engineering improvements over the original model, the revised 370Z NISMO is the sportiest and most focused 370Z to date. Powered by a 340bhp, 3.7-litre six-cylinder engine that delivers a raw and unforgettable driving experience. With exceptional torque at low revs and a broad power band, the 370Z NISMO can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 5.2 seconds.
Available only as a coupe with a six-speed manual gearbox, the new 370Z NISMO features a number of suspension enhancements introduced as part of the 2015 MY updates in 2014. To improve ride comfort, the rear spring and damper rates have been altered, while changes to the carpets and inner rear wheel arch protector have further reduced road noise.
GT-R NISMO: Power and performance perfected
First unveiled in production form at the 2014 Paris Motor Show and now officially on sale in Europe, the GT-R NISMO is the fastest and most advanced Nissan performance production car ever.
The GT-R NISMO is powered by a 591bhp, 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine that has been extensively modified by NISMO engineers. Combined with a revised aerodynamic package that generates an additional 100kg of downforce and a bespoke suspension set-up fine-tuned in Europe, it makes the latest GT-R the most remarkable to date.
Honed to perfection on the legendary Nurburgring Norsdschleife - where it holds the lap record for a volume production car - the new GT-R NISMO perfectly embodies the spirit of the NISMO brand, delivering breathtaking performance.
