For its 15th season, Peugeot Avenue Paris is hosting a new special event dedicated to the Dakar 2018 rally, open until March 2018. Visitors can admire the Peugeot 205 T16 and the new Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi.
The latest racing machine by Peugeot Sport will be taking part in the Dakar 2018 rally between 6th and 20th January.
Taking pride of place in the display area is the new Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi, successor to the Peugeot 3008DKR, which claimed the first three places in the Dakar 2017 event.
Heavier and more powerful, the new vehicle will be pursuing the ambitions of Peugeot Sport on the tracks of the world's most difficult rally raid next January.
Alongside the Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi, visitors will also be able to see the legendary Peugeot 205 T16, world rally champion in 1985 and 1986, and the very first Peugeot to win the Dakar in 1987 with Ari Vatanen at the wheel.
To enjoy the full Dakar 2018 experience, visitors are encouraged to sit in a dynamic armchair. Wearing a virtual reality headset, they can experience the thrills of the Dakar event as Sebastien Loeb's co-pilot. Alongside Stephane Peterhansel, Carlos Sainz and Cyril Despres, Loeb is one of the four pilots who will be electrifying enthusiasts throughout the rally.
