Nissan has introduced the facelifted Elgrand full sized MPV, and amongst a host of changes and improvements, is now available with a new seven-seater luxury variant. Other improvements include - a redesigned exterior with a commanding presence and an Advanced Driving-Assist Display (ADAD).

Also new on the Elgrand is the ADAD system which was first introduced in the new Nissan Teana and aids in placing key information right in front of the driver in an intuitive 3D-effect depth and tilt display - without distracting the driver.
The 2014 Elgrand is now offered in two different variants - a standard eight-seater variant and a new luxury seven-seater variant. While the standard variant retains most of its features, the new luxury variant boasts a few extra comforts for its occupants - starting with a new black leather with diamond-shape quilted patterned seats. The luxury variant also features new captain seats with an ottoman in the second row. Additional amber accents and special stitching add an extra dash of luxury.
Other amenities include dual auto-sliding doors, a touchscreen audio and navigation system, 10-inch rear entertainment system as well as foldable 60:40 second and third row seats for additional space, among others.
Measuring 4,945mm by 1,850mm by 1,815mm (L x W x H), the Elgrand is powered by a 2.5-litre engine paired to an Xtronic CVT with six-speed manual mode. The lump returns 170bhp and 245Nm of torque which provides the MPV with a leisurely acceleration of 12.6 seconds to the century mark, before climbing to a top speed of 180km/h. The MPV sips 8.9L/100km of fuel and emits 209g/km CO2.
Prices for the facelifted Nissan Elgrand, including COE, start at $194,800 for the seven-seater luxury variant and up to $202,800 for the standard eight-seater variant.

The new exterior design is the most striking visual element as the front grille is now bolder and more majestic. In addition, the car is fitted with new signature LED headlamps featuring Active Adaptive Front-Lighting System and a chrome finishing.
