First Acura NSX Type S to be auctioned for charity in the U.S.A

Acura has announced that it will auction off the very first serial production 2022 NSX Type S at the Monterey Car Week in the U.S.A.

The first NSX Type S ever available outside of Japan, VIN #001, will be sold to the highest bidder at Mecum Auction's Monterey, California event, with all proceeds from the sale of the exclusive supercar to benefit charities, including an innovative education program for underserved youth nationwide in partnership with the U.S.A's Centre of Science and Industry.

Making its global debut on 12 August 2021 during Monterey Car Week, the 2022 NSX Type S is the best performing road-legal Acura NSX ever, delivering quicker acceleration, sharper cornering and an even more emotional driving experience than the electrified supercar ever has before.

Just 350 of these exclusive supercars will be available worldwide, with only 300 offered in the U.S.A. The winner of the auction will be able to custom order their NSX Type S to their exact specifications.
