Ford adds that when combined with the six-speed manual, the 240bhp version of the 2.0-litre EcoBoost is not only the most powerful Mondeo ever built, surpassing the 3.0-litre V6 Mondeo ST220 by 14bhp, but it is also 30% more fuel efficient, achieving a 30% reduction in average consumption and CO2 emissions, which are the same as the 203bhp engine.
