HELLA launches two new driving video recorders

HELLA Asia Singapore Pte Ltd has unveiled their two new driving video recorders, the DR 760 with 3.5-inch touchscreen, and the compact and sleek DR 820. Both offer two-channel recording, which records both front and rear views of the vehicle simultaneously.

For enhanced safety on the road, the HELLA DR 760 and DR 820 Driving Video Recorders feature an Advanced Driver Assistance System.

Capable of detecting road markings, the system provides voice and visual alerts for Lane Departure Warning, Front Collision Warning and Front Vehicle Departure Warning functions.

This system can be activated with an external GPS module, which is sold separately.

Its format-free technology provides convenience to the user as the microSD card does not require regular formatting. For even greater ease of use, both the DR 760 and DR 820 can be connected to a smart phone using Wi-Fi for transfer and playback of footage on iOS and Android platforms.

Several in-built features ensure that the HELLA Driving Video Recorders capture crucial moments reliably for the user. The G-Sensor is automatically triggered to start the device recording during sudden braking or impact during a commute. When the vehicle is parked, the smart motion detection feature continues to capture incidents.The HELLA DR 760 Driving Recorder also eliminates the need for buttons, and a 3.5-inch touchscreen is used for dashcam control. 

Both cameras record at 1080P full high-definition with excellent image resolution. The superior video recording quality also extends to low-light environments due to its night vision capability. Its 140-degree wide angle view affords a wider view of the road, providing maximum visibility and reducing blind spots
