Hennessey has confirmed that the Venom F5 Roadster will launch in the U.K. on 31 August 2022 at Salon Prive. This follows the first unveiling of the car to the public at the Monterey Car Week in California previously on 19 August 2022.
The Venom F5 Roadster is based on the sold-out Hennessey Venom F5 Coupe. The two are nearly identical mechanically, yet several attributes set the open-air model apart from its fixed-roof sibling.
Tempered glass engine cover is probably one of the most durable in the world, being able to withstand aerodynamic forces beyond 482 km/h Beyond its removable carbon fiber roof, the Venom F5 Roadster features a new engine cover with a tempered glass engine viewing window. The window spotlights the 'Fury' V8 engine in all its glory. The glass panel can withstand aerodynamic forces exceeding 482km/h and temperatures beyond 540 degrees Celsius.
At Salon Prive, near Oxford, the Roadster will join its Coupe sibling, the 1,817bhp monster, engineered to exceed 482km/h. The hard top Venom F5 sold out its exclusive 24 unit production run following the 2021 Monterey Car Week. Hennessey is expecting the Roadster version of the Venom F5 to receive a similarly warm welcome at the U.K. event.
