Texas-based hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle creator Hennessey has unveiled the new H1000 Escalade-V, a massively upgraded version of the Cadillac Escalade-V.
The 2,812kg, 6.2-litre V8-engined, seven-seater, all-wheel-drive, super-SUV boasts 1,005bhp at 6,400rpm, and 1,196Nm of torque at 4,300rpm, and is able to go from 0-100km/h in just 3.6 seconds. A drag race filmed by Hennessey showed it leaving even a Lamborghini Huracan Evo for dead at the starting line, despite weighing almost double its weight.
The engineering team added almost 50% more power (682bhp to 1005bhp) and 35% more torque (885Nm to 1,196Nm) to the Escalade-V from its 2023 version with a high-flow supercharger, custom Hennessey camshaft, ported cylinder heads, custom engine calibration, and a high-performance throttle body, amongst other upgrades.
Production for the H1000 Escalade-V is now underway at Hennessey's Texas factory, with all 2024 build slots already sold out. Orders are now being taken for 2025 production with exclusivity guaranteed: Just 100 serial-numbered units were produced for the 2023 and 2024 model years.
