Honda has presented the world premiere of the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV at CES 2025. The two prototypes will be representing the Honda 0 Series models that will be introduced to global markets starting in 2026. In addition, the Honda 0 series models will also be equipped with the brand's original ASIMO operating system.
With the concept model introduced at CES 2024, the Honda 0 Saloon prototype was developed in preparation for a market launch scheduled in 2026, and features a low height and sporty styling, in addition to a spacious interior. The Honda 0 Series flagship model will be based on the newly-developed dedicated EV architecture and will feature highly reliable automated driving technologies backed by the Level Three automated driving technology.
Based on the Space-Hub concept model unveiled at CES 2024, the mid-sized Honda 0 SUV will be the first Honda 0 Series model, and is able to apply high-precision attitude estimation and stabilisation control based on 3D gyro sensors, technology Honda has amassed through the development of its original robotics technologies to enable dynamics at the will of the driver on various types of road surfaces.
In addition, at the Honda press conference held at CES 2025, Honda and Renesas Electronics Corporation have announced an agreement to develop a high-performance system-on-chip (SoC) to realise the future self-driving vehicles Honda aims to achieve with the Honda 0 Series models.
The production model of both the Honda 0 saloon and the 0 SUV is scheduled to be introduced first in the North American market in 2026, after which it will be released in global markets including Japan and Europe.
