Billionaire James Koh Wee Meng, the boss of Fragrance Hotel, faces legal costs of up to $2 million in the lawsuit against the local Rolls-Royce dealer.
Mr. Koh has lost the suit against the car dealer, claiming that the Rolls-Royce Phantom which he bought in 2008 was defective. He has up to 26th June to file an appeal against the court's judgement in favour of Trans Eurokars, the authorised dealer for Rolls-Royce cars in Singapore.
The Straits Times reported that Trans Eurokars' legal fees amounted to $1.2 million, and Mr. Koh's own legal cost would be more, if not equal to that.
