Hyundai has announced that its Insteroid concept has made its 2025 Japan Mobility Show (JMS) debut in the drift racing game JDM: Japanese Drift Master, becoming the video game's first ever electric model.
Visitors were treated to a one-of-a-kind dual immersion experience: An interactive gaming booth where attendees could explore the physical Insteroid concept car alongside its in-game counterpart. This innovative blend of digital and physical experiences captivated an audience eager to witness the future of sustainable mobility in gaming.
In addition, Hyundai's collaboration with the game also saw the Ioniq 5 and the Inster appear as NPC vehicles. The JDM: Japanese Drift Master is currently available on PC, with its console release scheduled for November 2025 (Xbox) and early 2026 (Playstation).
