Hyundai sees record year in North America

Hyundai Motor America has announced that it has sold a record total of 801,195 vehicles in 2023, making the year its most successful yet.
Responsible for the operations of Hyundai Motor Company in the U.S.A, Canada and Mexico, it states that this total vehicle sales figure is an 11% increase compared with 2022. Contributing to the figures was the Tucson, which sold over 200,000 examples for the first time ever in 2023.
The firm also states that eco-friendly vehicle retail sales for the last quarter of 2023 grew 37% compared with the last quarter of 2022.
The month of December 2023 also saw the 2024 Hyundai Elantra and Tucson awarded with the U.S.A Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Pick+ crash test safety award.
