Jeep ends EcoDiesel production with Gladiator Rubicon FarOut

Jeep has announced that it will be marking the end of production of the Gladiator EcoDiesel with a limited edition Gladiator Rubicon FarOut (read our review of the Jeep Gladiator here).

Limited to just 1,000 examples, the limited edition open-air pickup truck will come with a 3.0-litre V6 EcoDiesel engine pushing out a total of 256bhp and 600Nm of torque paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This transmission sends its power to third-generation Dana 44 front and rear heavy-duty axles and a Rock-Trac two-speed transfer case with a low-range gear ratio for off-road ability.

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon FarOut also gets visual upgrades that include a steel front bumper, satin black grille, body-colour fender flares, as well as special graphics and badges that appear on the hood and tailgate. 17-inch low-gloss black polished aluminum wheels will wear 33-inch mud-terrain tyres on the special edition car.

Deliveries of the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon FarOut in the U.S.A are set to begin in the third quarter of 2023.
