Jock Clear, Lewis Hamilton's Race Engineer, moves to Ferrari

Just one month under the lead of a new team principal, Mauricio Arrivabene, Ferrari's Formula One Team welcomes another new member - this time round the Race Engineer of Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes, Jock Clear.

There has been a huge change in Ferrari's Formula One Team recently with Lead Designer Nikolas Tombazis, Engineering Director Pat Fry and Tyre Performance Expert Hirohide Hamashima leaving the team at the end of the year. Not to mention that the driver lineup has also been changed, with ex-Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel joining the prancing horse's stable. 

Although Ferrari is still negotiating with Mercedes on the transfer of Clear, which means the 'employment' is not yet official, Clear will take over Pat Fry's vacant role as Head of Engineering, bringing with him a Driver's World Championship pedigree with him.
