Journey into the World of Electric Vehicles with SUTD and Vanda Electrics

Journey into the World of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and find out how the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Vanda Electrics are blazing the trail in designing and producing Singapore's very own cars.

The exhibition, happening between 2^nd and 10^th December, from 10:00am to 8:00pm daily, at the SUTD FabLab (Building 5, Level 1), 8 Somapah Road, will showcase Singapore's first ever all-electric hypercar - the Dendrobium - along with cars built by the SUTD EV Club students.

Designed by Vanda's in-house team, the Dendrobium's shape incorporates an automatic roof and doors, which open in a synchronised manner, resembling a fully-opened dendrobium flower, a genus of orchids native to Singapore. Performance targets for Dendrobium are a top speed in excess of 322km/h and a 0-100km/h time of 2.7 seconds. It will feature the latest lithium-ion battery and electric powertrain technology from Vanda Electrics and technical partner Williams Advanced Engineering.
