Dacia launches all-new Spring Cargo compact electric van

Dacia has launched its all-new Spring Cargo, which has also been named U.K.'s most affordable compact electric van.

The Spring Cargo is an inspired van variant of the all-new Dacia Spring car, with its rear seats removed and a mesh bulkhead fitted.

The Spring Cargo also has bi-directional, vehicle to load (V2L) capability for powering 240V accessories

Measuring 3,700mm long with a turning radius of just 4.8m, the van is ideal for city driving. It also offers a generous payload of 370kg with 1,085 litres of load space easily accessible from the rear doors.

The Spring Cargo also sports a 26.8kWh battery offering a range of up to 300km (WLTP urban cycle) or 225km (WLTP mixed cycle), with fast charging from 20% to 80% in 45 minutes.

The van is powered by a 48kW (65bhp) electric motor, and comes in Polar White paint. Standard specification includes features like a 10-inch display with Media Nav Live and Smartphone replication, cruise control, and remote central locking.
