KAMM unveils Touring-oriented 912T

Find the 912C a little too sparse when it comes to creature comforts? KAMManufaktur now has something that might have you giving its factory a call.
This is the 912T. As with KAMM's other offerings, it's a restomod Porsche 911, with special emphasis on keeping the pounds down, alongside delivering a product of timeless design. But unlike the 912C, this 912T is a touring model, designed, in the words of KAMM itself, for those who "relish the journey".
The KAMM 912 T gets a set of Smiths gauges in its cabin alongside a four-cylinder engine that has been retuned for a more civilised drive
The 912T thus still comes with plenty of carbon fibre bodywork but makes use of metal doors and glass windows for enhanced comfort on longer journeys. The net result is a car that weighs a total of 860kg.
Power has also been tweaked for this 912T. The 2.0 litre air-cooled 616 four-cylinder engine now develops a total of 161bhp, as opposed to the 187 in the C, while peak torque is now at 201Nm, moves designed to ensure the 912T offers a more civilised drive.
A non-valved touring exhaust system also features in the T, while KAMM states that the car's transmission has also been recalibrated to ensure a smoother, more touring-oriented driving experience. A quality ride, meanwhile, is now ensure thanks to the use of a tailor-made one-way Tractive system.
In the cabin, the KAMM 912 T comes with handcrafted seats by Fusina, while on the dash is a set of Smiths gauges produced to KAMM specification by Caerbont Automotive.
KAMM states that examples of the 912T will be produced in batches of five, in strictly limited numbers, all at a price starting from €245,000. But of course, you'll also need to throw in your own donor car. Production of the 912T is set to commence early in 2026. Not soon enough we think.
