Kia Soul gets redesigned for 2023, drops turbocharged engine

Kia has updated the Soul hatchback for the 2023 model year.
At the front, the car now sports a new fascia, alongside a redesigned grille. This grille is flanked by head lights that now get a redesigned daytime running light signature, and redesigned turn signals.
High trim varaints of the Kia Soul will come with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen alongside an electronic parking brake The rear fascia of the car, alongside the taillights, have also been changed, while the Kia Soul can now be had with new 17 and 18-inch rims.
This new Kia Soul will also be offered in the U.S.A with two new two-tone exterior colour options: Clear White with a Fusion Black roof, and Surf Blue with a Fusion Black roof.
The car is also now being offered with an extended range of safety features including a Driver Attention Warning system, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and a Forward Collision Avoidance Assistance system that can detect pedestrians.
The Kia Soul is now powered solely by a 2.0-litre engine producing 145bhp and 179Nm of torque.
