The new Lexus NX has scored a maximum five-star rating at the latest Euro NCAP safety tests.
The test report showed the Lexus NX excelling in every category, with an 83% score in adult occupant protection, an 87% score for child occupants, 83% for vulnerable road users, and 91% for the performance of its safety assistance systems. These results apply equally to both the hybrid NX350h and the plug-in hybrid NX450h.
The Lexus NX also comes to Singapore equipped with the Pre-Collision System, which benefits from upgrades to its millimetre-wave radar and camera systems so that it can now detect pedestrians and motorcycles in the car's path. A new Emergency Steering Assist system meanwhile, is also able to instantaneously recognise when the driver is swerving to avoid an obstacle and provide automatic steering assistance to keeping the car within its traffic lane.
