Maserati to celebrate 75th anniversary at Monterey Car Week

Maserati has announced an entire week of activities to mark its 75^th anniversary, coinciding with Monterey Car Week.

The firm had previously announced that it will unveil the new MCXtrema, a track-only hypercar based on the MC20 at Pebble Beach. The car is set to be revealed by Bill Peffer, CEO of Maserati Americas and Bernard Loire, Global Chief Commercial Officer together with Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design. Only 62 examples of the Maserati MCXtrema will be built.

The Maserati MCXtrema will be presented alongside the GranTurismo Luce and Prisma, which are making their American debut at Monterey Car Week after being first revealed in April 2023 at Milan Design Week.

Fans and owners of the brand will also be treated to a view of the brand's past, present, and future, with a parade lap planned at the Laguna Seca circuit come 18 August 2023. 75 classic Maserati vehicles are scheduled to participate in this parade lap, and Maserati plans to capture the lineup in a memorable group photo on the legendary raceway's corkscrew.
