Mercedes-AMG reveals interior of new AMG GT 4-Door
10 Mar 2026|16 views
Remember the teaser Mercedes-AMG revealed of its upcoming electric GT 4-Door? Well, those interested in securing one are now being offered a first look at the car's interior. And is it one pretty cabin.
Mercedes-AMG states that the cabin will offer a low seating position, but what is probably catching your attention is the fact that ahead of the driver sits a 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a 14-inch multimedia monitor, both described by Mercedes-AMG as offering 'razor-sharp' clarity. These both are further joined by at 14-inch exclusive passenger display.
Cast your eyes a little south and you'll notice that the centre console of the car houses three rotary controls, which are said to offer the driver the opportunity to adjust the response, slip and cornering behaviour of the vehicle. Notice that these mirror the chain-line look adopted by the air-conditioning vents. And of course, this centre console also plays home to two inductive smartphone chargers on top of two illuminated cup holders. Fancy.
The driver will wrestle the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door via a performance steering wheel complete with a flat bottom. This wheel will be available in a host of materials, from leather to carbon fibre and microfibre. And of course, this wheel will come with paddles to adjust the level of recuperation. Mercedes-AMG adds that the two round AMG buttons on this wheel will allow you to switch between driving modes at lightning speed. Yummy.
Owners will also get to rest their bums here on newly developed seats, which are said to offer high lateral support, although AMG Performance seats with integrated head restraints will also be available. Two contoured individual seats will be offered at the rear as standard.
Oh, and it looks like the car will come with one massive panoramic glass roof. Stretching all the way to the rear window, this roof can also be divided into individually switchable segments, so all those within will be able to choose how much light and visibility they want to let in.
Mercedes-AMG has stated earlier that the AMG GT 4-Door will make its international debut later this year. We are hoping its exterior looks as sleek as its cabin.
