Mercedes-Benz unleashes high performance E63 AMG Estate

The E63 AMG Estate features an aggressive front bumper with massive air intakes and LED daytime running lights, 18-inch AMG wheels, a rear diffuser, and four exhaust tailpipes. It also has the same features as the standard E-Class Estate like the 1950 litre luggage compartment, the "easy-pack" automatic tailgate, a "quickfold" system which lowers the rear seats, and a load compartment cover.

The E63 AMG Estate is powered by a 6.3 litre V8 engine that produces 525bhp and 630Nm of torque. Combined with a seven-speed Speedshift MCT automatic transmission, this allows the E63 to rocket from 0-100km/h in just 4.6 seconds. Mercedes-Benz also claims that the E63 Estate has a fuel consumption figure of 12.8 litres per 100km.

Other performance features include a newly developed AMG Ride Control sports suspension, which automatically adjusts the damping to best suit the current driving situation, a beefier front axle, and optional ceramic-composite brakes.
