Meyers Manx marks 60th anniversary at Goodwood Revival

Meyers Manx has celebrated its 60^th anniversary and showcased its 2.0 Electric Prototype at the 2024 Goodwood Revival.

Over 80 Meyers Manx dune buggies are said to have participated in a parade at the event, driven by enthusiasts from around the world and navigating Goodwood’s historic track despite the rain. At the forefront of this celebratory procession was Phillip Sarofim, Chairman of Meyers Manx, driving the Duke of Richmond and Gordon in a newly remastered Meyers Manx Resorter.

This reimagined version, built on a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle chassis, features charming wicker seats, and blends retro spirit with a modern touch, paying tribute to the adventurous roots of the brand while nodding toward a bright future.

The event's Earls Court Motor Show, meanwhile, saw the Meyers Manx 2.0 Electric Prototype being showcased. An electric reimagination of the classic dune buggy, the prototype promises to deliver the same thrilling driving experience as the firm’s other buggies with its blend of heritage and forward-thinking design, all while embracing a sustainable future.
