MG Motor U.K. has announced that it is supplying up to 100 MG ZS Electric cars to National Health Service (NHS) agencies across the U.K. as the U.K. government intensifies the battle against the COVID-19 outbreak.
The cars will be supplied completely free of charge to support the national effort to overcome the outbreak. The first six cars have already been supplied to Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust.
The MG ZS Electric is an SUV with a five-star Euro NCAP rating. With room for five inside and a large boot, the car is ideal for healthcare workers and those who need to transport passengers, luggage and equipment. As a zero tailpipe emissions car, the ZS Electric also contributes to lowering transport-related CO2 and improving local air quality.
