MINI reveals images of new Cooper E in Classic trim

Following the reveal of the petrol-powered MINI Cooper C and Cooper S, MINI has revealed new images of the MINI Cooper E in its 'Classic' trim.
The new entry-level into the firm's range is said to pair a modern, ecological drive with its brand-typical driving pleasure. And despite being the entry-point into the firm's range, the car will be available in a range of expressive body colours and contrasting roof finishes, including the Sunny Side Yellow complete with white mirror caps shown in the images above.
The MINI Cooper E gets a total of 181bhp from its electric motor, and will be offered with a range of rims ranging from 16 to 18-inches in diameter
The MINI Cooper E Classic will additionally come with a cockpit that gets its surfaces covered in a two-tone black and blue knit material, offering a contrast against the Vescin synthetic leather seats, which are available in grey or black with a perforated houndstooth pattern.
MINI states that the Cooper E will come with a 40.7kWh battery, which allows it to post a 305km WLTP range. This battery animates a 181bhp electric motor, and can be charged at 75kW, which will see it climbing from a 10% to an 80% state-of-charge in just 28 minutes. That 181bhp power output, meanwhile, will see the hatchback racing from zero to 100km/h in 7.3 seconds.
