Mobilize unveils two-seat electric quadricycle

Renault Group brand Mobilize has recently unveiled a two-seat electric quadricycle, christened the Duo, and the Bento, a utility version of the former that is equipped with a 649-litre cargo box.

A central driving position and compact design (2,430mm long and 1,300mm wide) helps with ease of driving and parking in cities. Both feature a driver's airbag, a first in the quadricycle segment.

Powered by a 48V electric motor from the Renault Austral's mild-hybrid system and a 10.3kWh battery from the Renault 5 E-Tech, this allows for an all-electric range of 161km for the Duo and 140km for the Bento.

Designed to be eco-responsible with over 40% of recycled materials, both will be at least 95% recyclable by the end of their lifespan. Each vehicle also has its own MyDuo app, which generates up to six digital keys, allowing users to unlock it remotely.

Both will be available through selected outlets in the Renault network.
