New SUV from Renault to be named 'Austral'

Renault has revealed that it will be replacing the Kadjar with a new model, set to be called the Austral.

Derived from the Latin word 'australis', the Austral will form part of the new range of compact SUVs developed by Renault, which are said to boast innovative connected technology and provide the pleasure of eco-friendly driving. The Austral, which stretches 4,510mm in length, can comfortably carry up to five passengers.

The Austral will follow the all new Arkana and the Megane E-Tech Electric to compete in the C-segment lineup. It is set for a full reveal come early 2022.
