Moke recreational convertible goes full electric
16 Oct 2021|660 views
Moke International, manufacturer of the Moke recreational convertible, has announced that it is going all-electric.
The move comes with a new electric Moke, powered by a 44bhp electric motor, plenty for a vehicle that weighs just 800kg, and more than enough to offer all the thrills expected of a Moke while traversing any sunny beach.
The new drivetrain will allow the Moke to reach 55km/h from a standstill in just 4.5 seconds, while its battery is said to be good for a range of 144km. Charging via a Type 2 charger to full will take four hours, while top speed of the vehicle is limited to 100km/h.
The last of the combustion-powered Mokes will no longer be available to order from 1 January 2022.
