Opel has released a video in which it explains the Karl's exterior design. Also known as the Vauxhall Viva, this new entry-level model serves as a replacement for the Agila and brings a massive design evolution both inside and out.
Customers can pick from ten exterior paints while the interior cabin can feature heated front seats and steering wheel, sunroof, cruise control, park assist and lane departure warning. There's also the IntelliLink infotainment system while the steering system features a city mode to reduce driver effort.
In this video, Opel's Vice President of Design Mark Adams is seen providing a thorough explanation of the Karl's body, which despite being only 3,680mm long, manages to offer a spacious interior cabin. The Opel Karl will go on sale mid this year and it's going to be powered solely by a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 75bhp. The motor will be coupled to a five-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels.
