Opel to present new Movano Hydrogen at IAA Transportation

Opel has announced that it will reveal a new Movano Hydrogen at the 2024 IAA Transportation exhibition in Hanover, Germany.
The firm states that its hydrogen-powered commercial vehicle will offer a WLTP range of 500km and can be refuelled with hydrogen in just five minutes. It will make use of a 148bhp electric motor that delivers a peak torque of 410Nm, and also gets an 11kWh battery to support hard acceleration, allowing the vehicle's fuel cell to operate in optimal conditions.
The vehicle also packages its drivetrain and hydrogen tanks in a space-saving manner, allowing it to offer up to 17,000 litres of cargo space (depending on variant chosen, of course) and carry a maximum 1,370kg payload.
The Opel Movano Hydrogen will be showcased at the exhibition alongside the Opel Rocks Electric quadricycle with the Kargo kit at a joint Stellantis stand.
