In the market for something stylish and dramatic? The new Peugeot 408 could be just what you've been looking for.
Launched at the 2023 Singapore Motor Show, the new fastback sports some stunning exterior sheet metal, complete with creases all throughout, all designed to give the car a feline-like stance.
Accompanying this body is a new grille that takes after the exterior body colour of the vehicle. And at the rear, the roof of the Peugeot 408 features two 'cat ears' designed to direct air down its gently sloping roof into the boot lid spoiler.
All these dramatic design touches are complemented by the car's 20-inch rims, which sport a unique geometric design in line with the rest of the dramatic styling of the car.
This Peugeot 408 also marks the first time the firm's new lion crest logo appears on a vehicle here in Singapore. Step into the Peugeot 408 and you'll find a cabin that rivals its exterior for design flair.
The Peugeot 408 sports a new i-Cockpit design that places the air-conditioning vents high on the dashboard to improve passenger thermal comfort A new i-Cockpit features here, combining a customisable 10.0-inch digital instrument screen that sits at eye level just above the steering wheel with a central 10.0-inch infotainment touchscreen.
This infotainment screen is positioned just slightly lower than the driver's digital cluster, so it is always within easy reach.
Further adding to this ease-of-use are fully configurable i-toggles - a row of touch-sensitive shortcuts that will offer easy access to cabin climate settings, entertainment settings, or other applications.
This infotainment system will also offer users the option to connect two phones via Bluetooth at the same time.
Further back, generous space for rear passengers is promised with the Peugeot 408, thanks to its generous 2,735mm wheelbase. The boot compartment will also offer a total of 536 litres of space, and can be extended to offer a total of 1,611 litres of cargo space by folding the rear seats down.
The Peugeot 408 will be offered here in Singapore with a 128bhp 1.2-litre engine that is paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
