Peugeot unveils the HYbrid3 Evolution three-wheeled scooter concept

The electric motors are powered by lithium-ion batteries that can be recharged by an energy recovery system active during deceleration and braking. The front and rear motors are connected electronically by-wire, with no mechanical connections between the two.
Like many hybrid cars, the HYbrid3 Evolution can be driven in several modes, including pure electric mode, which has a range of 10km, pure petrol mode, or a combination of the two. Peugeot says that the HYbrid3 Evolution has a fuel consumption figure of 2 litres per 100km, although it has yet to confirm whether it will put the concept into production.
