Philips launches new GoSure ADR820 modular dash cam
10 May 2018|7,556 views
The new Philips Automotive GoSure ADR820 is the brand's newest dashboard camera offering. Developed by Lumileds, the ADR820 is a premium modular dash cam that lets users easily add GPS and Full HD rear camera functions.

Additionally, the ADR820 is also compatible with a GPS module, built into a suction mount. By replacing the standard mount with the GPS version, all video recordings will have a GPS stamp on them, showing the vehicle's precise location.
The Philips GoSure ADR820 is equipped with a highly sensitive Sony image sensor and bright F1.8 lens, capturing a sharp, pixel-perfect recording, even in low light conditions. With a 140 degree super wide angle lens in the front camera and a 100 degree wide angle lens for the optional Full HD rear camera, the ADR820 is able to capture more of the vehicle's surroundings, recording up to three lanes of traffic. Users can also use the Philip GoSure mobile application to live stream dash cam videos to their smartphone using the camera's built-in Wi-Fi.
With the built-in 2.7-inch LCD screen, drivers are able to instantly playback any incident, which will also include a date and time stamp. Equipped with a three-axis G-sensor module, the ADR820 detects any movement and will trigger an emergency recording mode immediately at point of impact. This helps to preverse any vital evidence in a case of an accident. During a collision that exceeds a certain force threshold, the device locks the recorded video clip to prevent it being overwritten.
To help remind a driver to get sufficient rest, the ADR820 will also periodically sound a beeping warning alarm to alert the driver, especially useful for those long journeys. The GoSure ADR820 is also the first dash cam ever to feature Micro SD card failure detection and warning signal.
The Philips GoSure ADR820 will be available on 11th May via the newly launched Philips Automotive Official Store on Qoo10 SG. You can check out www.philips.com/automotive to find out more.
