Pioneer champions connectivity with new in-car receivers

One of the leading player in the aftermarket car electronics, Pioneer, has unveiled its latest lineup of CD receivers. The new range of receivers boasts improved smartphone connectivity, and allows user to enjoy higher quality music from their portable devices. Smartphones operating on Apple iOS and Google Android can now be paired with in-car entertainment systems via Bluetooth or cable connection.
Two lineups of CD receivers - entry-level and premium - have been launched. Building on its expertise in App Source (previously known as App Mode), the new range of CD receivers now supports smartphones and third party music applications, and can now be operated via the dashboard. Smartphone users will also enjoy direct access to their music library via Bluetooth streaming.
To ensure fuss-free usability, the CD receivers feature Pioneer's auto pairing feature, which prompts the user to pair their smartphone to the head unit. It will also allow users to make hands-free call.
Android users will also be able to enjoy USB Direct Control - a plug-and-play feature that allows Android devices to connect to the CD receivers for seamless music transfer - while the phone charges.
In addition, the latest range of CD receivers will also come with Pioneer's proprietary virtual DJ technology - MIXTRAX. MIXTRAX creates a unique, continuous listening experience by seamlessley transitioning between songs. User will be able to choose from DJ-inspired effects such as cross fading, high-pass filter and phaser to integrate their favourite sound tracks.
